"Rocks, Ziplocks, and Muddy Water"

The rain finally stopped. Harvey immediately had plans. None of them involved a dump truck.

It finally stopped raining this weekend, so you know what that means. Harvey is outside collecting rocks. Now you would think this would be done in a dump truck right? Well not Harvey. He likes to collect them in a ziplock bag. The reason, well toddler logic..duh. I think he likes to collect them and the clear bag helps him look at his ever growing collection. Okay.. mid post he just ran in and asked me to wash them and look at them. That means a bowl of muddy water on the porch, and a big fun mess to follow shortly after.

The bad thing is I have to break the news that the rock washing will be after nap, because anyone that knows that where mud is involved it will be all over everything. I personally don't want it all over his bed, and anyone that knows Harvey knows as much as he loves to play in the mud- he hates more to be dirty. The minute it touches him or his clothes we have to change and wash his hands. The answer to what you are all thinking is... Yes! I have a lot of laundry to keep up with.

Rocks and muddy water

Well after nap has arrived and the boys certainly cleaned the rocks. Now the rocks are clean and so is Pippy's mouth. While we were cleaning he decided to try the water! Lip smacking good he thought! Yes, he really smacked his lips and went back for more.
